Mergelet is free on the App Store for iPhone. You can see your version at the bottom of Settings.
Where can I play more?
Today holds the daily puzzle. Explore contains Little Beginnings, with twelve puzzles in four learning steps, and Quick Play with 4 × 4 and 5 × 5 boards. Collection contains completed daily puzzles, earned daily skills and a calendar that begins with your own journey. Older beta versions may have different screens.
How do I earn the Little Beginnings keepsake?
Complete all twelve chapter puzzles in any order. Any star rating counts. Your keepsake stays in the chapter and appears on Today and Explore. Replay puzzles whenever you like to improve your stars.
What happens tomorrow?
New players start at Daily Puzzle #1. Each midnight in your device’s local time brings the next puzzle in your journey. Version 1.1.3 and later contain 960 daily puzzles, so a new one arrives every day for years. Version 1.1.2 and earlier contain 60 and repeat them after 60 days; update from the App Store to get the new ones. Updating keeps your completed puzzles, stars and calendar. Players who joined during the beta keep their completed boards and scores.
I changed my clock or time zone
Mergelet follows your phone’s local date. After travelling or changing the clock, today’s puzzle follows the new date. Completed puzzles, stars and your calendar are never removed by a clock change. Chapter and Quick Play puzzles remain available whenever you want.
What counts as a move?
Only a swipe that changes the board uses a move. A tile merges once per swipe. Stone walls never move; cracked blocks break when a merge finishes directly beside one. Their opening becomes usable on the next swipe. Reaching the target on your last move still wins.
Can I undo or restart?
You have three undos per attempt and may restart a puzzle whenever you like. Minimum is the fewest moves needed to solve the board. Match it for three stars.
Why is my progress different on another phone?
Progress stays on each device. There is no Mergelet account or cloud sync. Removing the app or clearing its storage may erase your progress.
The TestFlight link will not accept me
TestFlight is only for trying upcoming versions early; the current version is always on the App Store. Apple’s invitation page shows the current availability. The beta may be full, paused, awaiting review, or have no active build. Email support with the exact message. You do not need the developer’s Expo or Apple account.
Report a puzzle or display problem
Include the mode, board size, puzzle number, move sequence if remembered, and a screenshot. Use the arrow buttons if a swipe is not registering. For animation sensitivity, turn on Reduced motion in Settings.
